How to Play
Main Design Challenge:
-Make an analog game for international first year students
-Make the game educational by teaching people of different cultures

Game Description:
You just died, but it's okay this is where the fun begins! You awake in the realm between life and death with other recently deceased people, except none of you remember your old lives. You must race across the realm and recover your memories to pass into the Underworld while events from your past life try and stop you.
Design Explanation:
International first years face a lot of challenges, they are in an entirely new environment, far from friends and family they might struggle.
To help these students we created a game with the aim of teaching people more than a surface level understanding of culture, for which I suggested a very fluid approach, that allowed people to basically teach eachother their cultures. I thought of the idea of creating a fun card game where players collect various cards with fun art and stat values and strategise which cards to use for different situations in order to win, with a significant twist, in order to truly progress and defeat the enemy encounters they found, they had to tell a story relating to that enemy encounter. These were all made to be conversation starters as they were all based off different experiences people have within their countries. This combination of card collecting and story telling creates a fun game people want to play but also a game that can truly teach people about culture.
